At Rest Easy Pet Memorials, we can’t ignore the fact that every memorial is for a grieving person or family.

We wanted to be able to offer people pet specific grief guides and make those guides available for free to anyone who needs them.

Pet Specific Grief Support, Written by an Expert

We teamed up with Caroline Lloyd, author of “Grief Demystified: An Introduction” (which we highly recommend everyone reads!) to put together 5 pet specific grief guides available on our Support page;

    1. How to provide emotional support following the loss of a pet
    2. Dealing with the sudden loss of a pet
    3. Preparing yourself and your family for pet loss
    4. How to approach the subject of death with your children following the loss of a pet
    5. How to support an elderly person following the loss of their pet

We have tried to broadly cover as many situations as we can but it’s important to understand that everyone grieves in their own individual way and the extent of that grief, along with the expression of that grief varies greatly.

    Free At Home Pet Funeral

We have also worked with expert family funeral directors to design a Free At Home Funeral Ceremony Guide.

A pet funeral ceremony can be a key moment for many people’s journey with grief.

It may be a chance to say goodbye if you were denied the opportunity due to a sudden, unexpected loss of a pet.

It may be that you feel that your children would benefit from helping organise and taking part in a funeral ceremony as a final goodbye to your family pet.

Our At Home Funeral Ceremony is available for free via our website today.

    Memorialising Your Pet

We’ve been making memorials for 200 years so we understand that for some people, a memorial can be a perfect memento of your pet.

A pet memorial can be a slate plaque or you could grow a tree from your pet’s ashes – both of these are part of our unique pet memorial range.

If you wish to create something bespoke please do not hesitate to contact a member of our friendly team today.

We’re proud to be a UK based company and exclusively source local stones and slate for our pet memorial range.

All of our memorials are lovingly handcrafted by our own dedicated UK masons.
